This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies specifically to opt-out rights relating to targeted advertising under applicable U.S. state laws.

Preamble

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other applicable US state privacy laws, residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal data for targeted advertising purposes. ComicRush may disclose certain categories of personal data to advertising and analytics partners, including online identifiers (such as cookie IDs, device identifiers, IP addresses), usage data, interaction data, and advertising identifiers. This activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under applicable laws.

We do not sell personal data for monetary consideration. However, certain disclosures for advertising purposes may qualify as “sharing” (and in some cases “sale”) under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.

In some cases, we may also disclose limited data (such as hashed identifiers or audience data) to advertising platforms for marketing and audience measurement purposes.

These third parties may include advertising networks, social media platforms, analytics providers, and marketing partners.

For purposes of applicable US state privacy laws, “sale” generally refers to the disclosure of personal data to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration, and “sharing” refers to the disclosure of personal data to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How to exercise your right to opt out

To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data via cookies and similar technologies, please click here to access your "Cookie Settings" and manage your preferences. Once the cookie settings pop-up appears, please switch "Marketing" cookies to complete your opt-out request. You may also choose to disable "Analytics" cookies to limit further the data we collect about your use of our services.

Authorized agents acting on a consumer’s behalf may also submit opt-out requests by following the procedures outlined in the "Do not sell or share my personal data (California residents)" section of our Privacy Policy or by contacting us at [email protected]. We may require verification of the consumer’s identity and written authorization from the authorized agent, in accordance with applicable law.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We recognize and respond to Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser. If our system detects a GPC signal, we will automatically treat such a signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data for that browser and device.

Notice for users in the European Union

For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the concept of “sale” under US law does not apply. Targeted advertising activities are based on your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time through our Cookie settings or by contacting us at [email protected].

Some additional clauses

We do not sell personal data in the traditional sense of exchanging data for money. However, certain data disclosures for advertising purposes may qualify as “sale” or “sharing” under applicable privacy laws.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

We may process limited sensitive personal data (such as account login credentials) solely for authentication and security purposes. We do not use sensitive personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising or profiling beyond what is permitted or required under applicable law.
